1. Read "Witness for the Prosecution."
2. As you read, stop at four places in the story and write one sentence at each stop telling what you think will happen. The four places are:
     a. on page 7 after Mr. Mayherne concludes his interview with Leonard Vole,
     b. on page 9 after Mr. Mayherne concludes his interview with Romaine Heilger,
     c. on page 13 after Mr. Mayherne concludes his appointment with Mrs. Mogson and checks her              story, and
     d. on page 14 after the verdict is read.
